This travel route is designed to educate people on the ethnic Mong [Hmong], their culture, language, and history. The travel route will be in Yunnan where it has most different ethnic minorities of Chinese nationality. We will see some of the most beautiful landscapes and many different groups of Mong in Southwest China. Their differences evolved due to migration, assimilation, and long time separations.
During the trip we will have the opportunities to interact and have first hand experiences, not just with the Mong, but with Zhuang, Yi, Yao, Han nationality, and others as well.

Day 1: You will be greeted at Kunming and checked into a hotel.
Day 2: Leave early to MengZi to join the MengZi New Year celebration. If you can sing or have talents, Mong China would love to see them and hear your voice, so be prepared to shine. Also will see MengZi sceneries and visit a couple towns.
Day 3: Will travel to
Xinhua,
HePing,
BaiHe, and spend the night in Pingbian. At these places, you will see all the things you have been wondering how people in China live.
Day 4: Join the Pingbian New Year celebration and will watch bull fights (depend on their schedule). We will go to visit the tallest mountain in the area to see how Mong lives there. The mountain side is known to the locals as White Cliff ("Tsua Dlawb"). Find out why it is called such name.
Day 5: Leave early morning to Maguan, and will join Maguan New Year celebration (depend on their schedule). We will spend a night in Maguan.
Day 6: Visit sceneries around Maguan
(DuLong, and other villages), and leave to
Wengshan (Paaj Tawg Lag) in the afternoon. We will be having dinner with some local Mong at a Mong restaurant, and share life experiences between China and America. Spend a night in Wengshan.
Day 7: Spend half-day in Wengshan shopping and visiting the "Paaj Tawg Lag" Mong town. After lunch, we will leave back to Kunming.
Day 8: You will be arriving in Kunming if need to be dropped off.
